Mirren Live 2026 brought together agency leaders who are serious about growth, and it showed in every conversation we had there.

Cortland Fondon and Kelly McGowan hosted a Mastermind session on closing the ex*****on speed gap, which drew innovative thinking and honest perspectives from everyone in the room. We're grateful for the time, the people, and the reminder of how strong the independent agency community is.

The agencies seeing the biggest returns from AI tend to have one thing in common: clear ownership structures before the tools ever got turned on.

If workflows are standardized and accountability is defined, AI compounds those strengths. If they're fragile, AI surfaces that faster than most teams can respond.

Our Employee Spotlight this month is product marketing manager Katie Herr.

Katie is the kind of teammate who makes the people around her better. She has spent the past months leading the charge on integrating new technology into our GTM workflows, building tools, testing ideas, and openly sharing what she finds along the way. The whole marketing team has grown because of how she works.

Katie, thank you for showing us what it looks like to own something fully. This recognition is very well deserved!

Evan Ladensack and JK Koenigsknecht spent the week in Pittsburgh at the AMIN Worldwide Integrated Conference, connecting with independent agency leaders who are genuinely invested in growing their businesses.

AMIN has a way of bringing out honest conversations where people openly share what's working and where they're placing their bets. This year, that meant real talk about building AI-native workflows and why speed and talent density matter more than size right now.

We're grateful to the AMIN community for the warm welcome, and are already looking forward to next time!

Agency teams are being asked to hand more control to automation before the ex*****on side has caught up.

Somewhere in the middle of it, machine learning doesn't get what it needs.

Only about 30% of agencies have fully integrated AI across the campaign lifecycle. The other 70% are navigating a real gap between what platforms are pushing and what teams can actually maintain.

Learn why that gap exists and what machine learning actually needs to perform well in our latest blog:

Cortland Fondon and Caitlin Zuchero are heading to Mirren Live 2026.

We’ll be in New York City May 13 and 14 for two days of agency growth conversations, from new business and operating models to AI, capabilities, and the systems that help teams grow on repeat.

Cortland is also hosting a Mastermind session on Wednesday, May 13, at 11:15 am ET: Great Strategy Isn’t Enough: Closing The Ex*****on Speed Gap

It’s all about the gap between smart media strategy and getting the work out the door fast, clean, and on target.

If you’re going to be there, come say hi. We’d love to connect.

Every semester, students in a 400-level course at the University of Montana College of Business learn how digital advertising works, from media planning to campaign reporting, with support from Pathlabs.

Last week, they stood up and proved it when they presented their final campaigns with several members of the Pathlabs team in the audience.

The best thing we can do for the next wave of marketers is put real work in front of them, taught by people doing it every day, and this group made it count.

The future of media is in great hands.

For the second year in a row, our CEO, William Lapointe, has been named a finalist for the 2026 Digiday Future Leader Awards.

When Will started at Pathlabs, the playbook for independent agencies was already under pressure. There was too much complexity and too little support. His response was to help Pathlabs build something new: the MEP model, a service-first approach that gave agencies room to grow without burning out the people doing the work.

Since then, Pathlabs has grown to 100+ team members, now supports over 50 agency clients, and was acquired by global programmatic leader MiQ in 2024.

Most recently, Will's commitment to client service earned him the role of Chief Client Officer, US, at MiQ, where he will strengthen agency relationships while continuing to lead Pathlabs as CEO.

Digiday recognizes leaders who move the industry forward with purpose and measurable results. Will has been doing exactly that, year after year.

Please join us in congratulating him, and read more about his story: https://lnkd.in/eNcQJY7A
