It's happening!! We are excited to announce that we will be closing and moving into our new library building! We will tentatively be closed from May 20th through May 31st!

Checkouts will not be available at this time, so you will want to make sure you get in the library before then and stock up! Alternatively, you could take this as a chance to visit one of the other wonderful libraries in the Winding Rivers Library System!

RIP Buck 😞

With sad news, everyone’s favorite K9 in Mondovi, has passed away. K9 Buck had some medical issues that came up during his shift this evening and was brought to an emergency vet clinic in Eau Claire. Buck was rushed into surgery in attempt to fix the issue, but Buck was unable to make it. Buck was put down this evening. K9 Buck served
the Police Department as our first K9. Buck has had two K9 handlers during his time with our department, first being Cole Tenold and his final and current handler, Sergeant Kris Sundeen.

K9 Buck went 10-41 and 10-42 for his last shift today, January 6th, 2024. K9 Buck was a great tool for our department and surrounding agencies. K9 Buck will never be forgotten and will be missed by our department and the City of Mondovi.

Rest easy K9 Buck we thank you for your dedication and service.

‼️‼️Please use caution traveling on STH 37 North of Mondovi. There are currently multiple fire departments assisting Mondovi Fire Department at a structure fire ‼️‼️

09/15/2023

We have received numerous complaints regarding the stop lights on STH 25. The number one safety issue is drivers speeding up and going through the red lights, which then causes the significant delays for everyone else. Please be advised we will have extra patrols in that area to prevent this from happening. Please give yourself extra time when traveling and expect delays. We are trying to keep the Highway as safe as possible, the Sheriffs Office is not involved in the construction planning or the timing of the lights.
