🐾Foster for the Day! 🐾

Thinking of spending a day with a dog and helping them on their journey to a new home? Our Foster for the Day program lets you hang out with a foster dog, enjoy some fresh air, and give them a little extra exposure for adoption.

To make things easy, we’ve packed a backpack with all the essentials, so you’re ready to go for the day. Plus, we’ve got adoption gear like “Adopt Me” vests and info cards to help highlight your foster dog while you're out and about.

🐾 Where to Go? Take your foster dog on a walk through the neighborhood, a local park, or a pet-friendly café. These outings give the dog a chance to get comfortable outside the shelter and connect with people in the community.

📅 Booking Made Easy With our appointment system, planning your foster day is more convenient than ever. Walk-ins are also welcome! If it’s been a while or you’re a first-time foster, filling out our foster application in advance will help get you set up faster.

Today I have the honor of covering a very special celebration for Montgomery Neighbors Magazine: George Waters’ 105th birthday.

George is a WWII veteran and former POW, and I just received a copy of his book, No Thought For Tomorrow. Holding his story in my hands before meeting him feels incredibly meaningful — a reminder that behind every milestone birthday is a lifetime of courage, history, faith, and memories worth preserving.

I’m looking forward to celebrating George today and helping share a piece of his remarkable story with our community.

Happy 105th birthday, George!

Marketing isn't just about getting seen, it's about getting chosen.

Your BVM ad is more than just a billboard in the home. It’s a tool to build your digital reputation. We've even seen some clients move away from "Sale" ads and toward "Social Proof" ads. Here’s how:

The QR Shortcut: Instead of a generic website link, use your BVM ad to link directly to your Google Review page.

The Neighbor Hook: Feature a quote from a local resident in the ad.

The Result: You bridge the gap between "I saw you in the magazine" and "I trust you because 50 of my neighbors do."

Marketing isn't just about getting seen; it's about getting chosen.
