Working with a new client (and a good friend), this afternoon. Grabbing some video and photo content, so we can get his website started.

Did you know? Whenever I have the opportunity, I prefer using actual content over stock (photo/video). It helps with promotions and just making the site more authentic.

I’ve been slowly getting back into the design side of things, I have my moments (both, good and bad).

This is something I’ve been wanting to do for a while. I’ve had the Cricut Explorer 2 Air for a few years, now. I knew it could cut stickers with the print and cut feature. For some reason, my Bluetooth fails to pair the device. Idk if it’s a Windows 11 thing or what. Anyhow, I managed to get the printing dialed in.

My biggest concern, is making sure these cut correctly in the Cricut (when I finally get it working like it should). For now, I just used my paper slicer and a pair of scissors to trim these to size. My goal, is to have these double sided, so when you peel off the back, it will have the information along with social media links.

These aren’t high quality, by any means, but they look good to me. Once I get this ironed out and can get these created in a quick turnaround, I’ll be adding stickers and business cards to the list of available services.

Another hiccup I’m dealing with, these cutting mats are very sticky and if you don’t get these sheets on there right, it’s a nightmare. The paper curls, as you try to pull it off. This is why you see that curling a bit🙈
