We remember the lives lost too soon.
We stand beside the families, friends, and communities who carry their memory.
We support those who are still here.
And we hold hope for every person still finding their way toward recovery.

Today, we light a candle in remembrance, in support, and in hope for a future where fewer families experience the heartbreak of overdose.

💜 Community in action in Paterson!

Turning Point was proud to support Ruby’s Vision’s Garage Sale & Opioid Awareness Event in the City of Paterson on Sunday, August 23!

The event brought the community together while raising awareness about the opioid crisis and supporting an important cause. Proceeds from the garage sale help Ruby’s Vision continue its harm reduction efforts throughout Paterson, providing resources, education, and support to individuals and families in the community.

We’re grateful to Ruby’s Vision for their continued commitment to meeting people where they are and helping make vital resources more accessible.

💚 Connecting with the Plainfield community!

Turning Point was proud to attend and table at the Community Health Fair at Community Church of God and Clifford Alford Lodge 165 in Plainfield, NJ.

It was a wonderful afternoon connecting with local families, sharing information about Turning Point’s programs and resources, and joining fellow community organizations in promoting health, wellness, and access to care.

We were grateful to be alongside Hackensack Meridian Health, Rise Up Recovery Center, Horizon Blue Cross Blue Shield of New Jersey, and other community partners who came together to serve the Plainfield community.

🎒📚 Back to School & Back to Community!

Turning Point was proud to join NJ Reentry Corporation’s Passaic County Back-to-School Community Event at the Paterson Museum!

It was a wonderful day bringing families, community organizations, public safety partners, and local resources together to help students start the school year off strong. We were grateful to be part of an event that provided free backpacks and school supplies, resources, giveaways, food, activities, and more for the Paterson community.

A special thank you to former Governor Jim McGreevey, Jada Fulmore, and the NJ Reentry Corporation team for bringing so many community partners together for such a meaningful event.

✨ An unforgettable evening of purpose, partnership, and community. ✨

On August 14th, The Michaud Group was honored to attend Ruby’s Vision Gala: Ties & Pearls, a beautiful evening dedicated to celebrating service, connection, and making a difference in our communities.

The evening was especially meaningful to The Michaud Group, as Renee Michaud proudly serves as President of the Board of Ruby’s Vision, helping to advance the organization’s mission and commitment to serving others.

We were also incredibly humbled to receive the Mayor’s Award for Outstanding Civic Contribution from the City of Paterson, recognizing The Michaud Group’s service to the community. This recognition is truly an honor and a reflection of what has always been at the heart of our work: building relationships, strengthening communities, connecting individuals and families to vital resources, and helping bridge the gap to care.

A special thank you to Turning Point, a proud sponsor of this year’s gala, for continuing to invest in and support the communities we collectively serve. We were grateful to share the evening alongside Turning Point, Anderson House, Aspire, and so many incredible community leaders and partners.
