An amazing throwback with an even better story and cause. We love our military so this car meant more to us than most. A car we reintroduced and designed in iracing for Jamie Call. Heres the story from Jamie himself and thanks to him for some kind words to us for the design.

"Here is my throwback for the Nashville race. Many thanks to David Polenz for the paint. I’m throwing it back to when I last ran my Legend in Houston in 2015. At the time my wife and I were volunteering for Lone Surviver Foundation (LSF) which was started by Navy SEAL Marcus Luttrell, LSF is based here in the Houston area.

One thing I’d like to point out are the initials D.A.S.Y. Those are the initials of the 4 members of SEAL Team 10 for Operation Redwing; Danny “Danny Boy” Dietz, Matthew “Axe” Axelson, Marcus “Southern Boy” Luttrell, and Mike “Yankee” Murphy. There are many other cool things that I could go on and on about, but then this post would be a heck of a lot longer. Needless to say, this car is special to me and is in storage for the time being.

Most importantly, LSF helps our Veterans acclimate back in to life after serving. They have a dedicated retreat facility down on the Bolivar Peninsula just east of Galveston on the Texas Gulf Coast. I never did serve in the Military but I am thankful to those who are serving and have served, this was my way of helping to get the word out for a resource to help those members of the Military that needed it.
