Why Social Media?! I sometimes feel like the good in social media platforms gets totally overlooked so I wanted to share WHY I’ve invested time into a very controversial thing.
While, yes there are bullies and trolls out there that DO utilize these platforms to shake up negativity. I have experienced it firsthand (I’ve literally been told by someone that if I don’t have an unpaid blue check by my name or aren’t someone famous they won’t follow or support my accounts 😂). BUT anyway…to be honest, social media can do SO MUCH good in this present day.
✨I’ve met people around the world—the sweetest souls—the coolest backgrounds—those who inspire me and then I get to follow their adventures and continue to be inspired. It’s networking positive relationships on a personal level. For business and music, it’s growing some pretty cool relationships and keeping me creative.
✨ A story is always ready to be told and I love being a part of that moment in someone’s life. It might be a written song or a post I get to design for a client’s page—it’s a story so important to share to build that genuine connection, followers, and who knows—actually help someone work through something like Greif or feeling stuck in the mud.
✨Creativity and self love. If something exciting is happening in life—share it! Share your writing, share that artsy photo, share your fun vacations!! AND may it be a blessing to someone who has been praying for your moment or inspire your kiddos to chase their dreams. Can we normalize this?
So yes, I agree, there are ways this online world can destroy a heart or business but honestly, it’s good to talk about the positive side as a reminder that social media can be an opportunity to build a business that pays the bills or a platform used for good.
Whether you’re looking for somebody to take over your social media page with creativity, or just wanna toss some ideas around let’s connect! ✨🫶🏼
Ps, here’s some happy photos that remind me of how beautiful life is.
