It’s what gives you that solid embroidered background behind a logo.
But here’s the part most people don’t think about — the machine doesn’t automatically know how to do it.
The logo has to be digitized correctly first.
Stitch direction.
Thread density.
Underlay.
Fabric type.
If those aren’t set properly, the shirt puckers or the logo just looks off.

That’s not part of the jacket.
When we embroider on certain fleece materials, we use a water-soluble topping to keep the fabric smooth while stitching. Without it, the thread can sink into the texture and make the logo look fuzzy.
It’s an extra step most people never see.
But it’s what keeps the logo looking sharp and clean.
In embroidery, the little details make the biggest difference.
