Here are my radishes after their weighted period. They were literally pushing the board with weight on it up, I had read this would happen but I guess you just have to see it for yourself! Now for a day or two in blackout. I believe their growth is a little behind due to being in the basement and is a little cooler than the optimum temperature, but I still think they’re doing good!

Started radishes today, currently in the weighted period for a couple days, hanging out in my new greenhouse rack. Thanks for thinking of me and your support mom & dad! 😊

I harvested on Tuesday, Day 11. I got quite a few pea shoots and 5 or 6 sunflower shoots, with a few more still growing.

The peas were excellent! Tasted just like fresh peas right out of the pod. I personally wasn’t a fan of the sunflower, my daughter on the other hand loved them! We used them to top off our chef salads, yummy!

Sorry I didn’t get a post up for Day 6, so here is the morning version of Day 7. Much to my surprise, there are a few sunnies starting to emerge! There’s not going to be enough for samples of either this round, but I’ll keep trying!

Looks about the same as yesterday. I’m afraid my sunnies didn’t have enough moisture at some point and have mostly dried up….there are a few growing but not many.

The sunflowers haven’t changed much but the peas sure are!
