Any art friends interested in presenting at Oak Flat for 5th grade career day? It's super easy. See below
Reaching out with a favor. Iām planning 5th Grade Career Day and Iām having trouble filling two of my spots. The Career Categories still vacant are:
Arts and Communication ā people who are imaginative and like to use their creativity in their work. For example, sculptors, dancers, writers, photographers, designers.
Industrial and Engineering Technology ā people who like working with tools or machines. They like ot use their hands to do their job. They like to build and fix things. For example, mechanics, carpenters, engineers.
Might you know of someone whose career fits one of these categories??
Career Day is scheduled for Thursday, 10/17. Arrival time for speakers is 9:15 and they would be done around 11:00. They would provide 6 sessions, 10 minutes each to groups of 5th graders ā 6-10 per group. Bringing pictures or tools that help to explain their career is always helpful too! Our kids love to see things rather than just listening to someone talk
