GarlandBurks is celebrating 7 years in business!

In September 2019, Walter and I decided to take a leap and officially launch GarlandBurks. 7 years later we are so grateful to still be working together.

Early in our career we began as wedding photographers. However, with Walter’s degree in Political Science and Heather’s degree in Marketing and our early experience in the event and government world, it also felt inevitable our path would lead up back here.

We are so grateful to be able to use our skills and past expertise to specialize in local government and tourism marketing now. It has been an incredible journey the past 7 years with so many amazing projects in places so near and dear to our hearts.

Thank you so much to all of the clients who have trusted us through the past 7 years and who still trust us today for their creative marketing needs. We are so grateful to you all!

The 9th annual Lantern Parade is happening soon in downtown Mount Holly! 🏮

This spectacular parade promises to light up the night with magical lighted lanterns as they march down Main Street. Front and center at this after-dark occasion are the fragile, lightweight lanterns that will adorn the dark sky this Saturday night. This year's theme is "The Wide World Of Sports."

Awaken Gallery is proud to present this event featuring students and artists from the Mount Holly area and beyond! This event is a collaboration between the City of Mount Holly, the Mount Holly Community Development Foundation, and sponsors Stanton Enterprise McDonalds and the Mount Holly TDA.

We have been very busy over the last 10 months with a new social media marketing client, the City of Mount Holly. We have absolutely loved getting to know this city more!

We have been assisting them with their social media marketing, photography & videography, and website maintenance. Our goals were to highlight the good things occurring in Mount Holly, as well as to market their community events.

During the first 6 months, the social media statistics increased by an average of 505% when compared to the 6 months prior. The events throughout the 10 months saw great success and attendance increases.
