ANGLES matter.

A trained eye can see a dish or treat and immediately know what angle will best show it off.

You don't want to shoot a hamburger from above (unless you just want to show off the bun), same with sandwiches that are whole. The straight on side view shows off the layers your customers really want to see.

Birds eye? Best for things where the most important stuff is on top- decorated cookies, a pizza etc.

45 degree angles are for that perfect "i'm sitting at the table and this is my view" kinda shots. It's the perfect angle for FOMO.

And a close up? While seemingly unnecessary, it is the perfect way to show off texture and ingredients as well as show off the authenticity of your dish.
