We loved getting to know more about the bean to bar process...like, did you know that there are different colors and flavors of cacao beans? Like a rainbow of colors!

Did you know that tempering chocolate is a beautiful process that stabilizes the cocoa butter crystals and gives you that beautiful glossy finish?

DID YOU KNOW that you can get food from their cafe that is made with different parts of the bean and adds an incredible flavor that isn't always sweet like you'd think!? Ask Mr. Proper Nosh, he inhaled the pork belly bits off that wedge salad!

Canva makes it really easy to take your social media up a notch.

What I did for this graphic:

1. Picked a dish, this time it was the cinnamon roll pancakes from

2. Removed the pancake off the plate using the magic grab tool.

3. Made the background solid using the color picker and selecting a color from the cinnamon roll pancakes.

4. Went into elements tab, searched up "texture" and picked a paper- like texture, added that on top of the background layer and behind the pancake layer.

5. Added text describing the pancakes above, bigger for the name, smaller for the description.

6. Added the logo off their website.

Bing bang boom.

3 minutes of time from opening the app to saving it to post.

What food do you keep in the house when your teens are home for the summer?

I'm actually really scared because it's been a few months where our son is eating so much I don't know how we will get through the months he's home haha.

Do your menu photos look like they're being interrogated by the police?

Harsh, florescent lighting, no life, no excitement...just a "shoot, I didn't post anything today" last minute panic post.

Do you post your dishes with the caption "order me today" without anything else that would even help you build your loyal and engaged audience?

Do you even know WHO you're targeting with your posts or are you just "posting to anyone who likes to eat food.' ???

We aren't just a photography company and we certainly are not what you would traditionally call "influencers".

Pancakes are different depending on where you are in the world.

🥞 American pancakes are typically thicker, fluffy and usually topped with butter and syrup.

🥞 The UK has SOME American style pancakes but as I learned on pancake day 2011, they're more crepe like and topped with sugar and lemon juice.

🥞 Europeans love crepes as well and they stuff them with all kinds of deliciousness- could be sweet or savory!

🥞 Northern Africa has the msemen which is layered and created kind of like laminated dough is and includes meat or butter or honey and is made of semolina dough.

🥞 Eastern Europeans have blinis which look like tiny poofy silver dollar pancakes and they put things like sour cream or caviar etc.

🥞 Germans have pfannkuchen or eierkuchen in Berlin- similar to our thicker American pancakes but served with jam or applesauce instead of syrup.

🥞 The Danes have aebleskiver which is a poofy ball pancake dipped in jam and dusted with powdered sugar...kind of looks like donut holes!

🥞 Of course, Europe and the middle east have potato pancakes which are made with potato and served with applesauce or sour cream.

🥞 Japan has delicious soufle pancakes which can be sweet or savory as well!

So many more it would take 3 posts.
