After 20 years in the industry, the boutique agency that I launched nearly five years ago, Nelson Strategic Marketing, was recognized in the top three in the categories of Best Ad and Marketing Firm and Best Public Relations Firm in the Charleston Regional Business Journal's Reader's Rankings 2023. This acknowledgment is a tremendous honor, particularly when standing alongside great friends and industry experts.

I confess that I don't post much —an irony that isn't lost on me, given the nature of my work. At the end of each day, after dedicating my time to promoting and celebrating the achievements of my clients, turning the spotlight on myself is not a priority.
