Way to go, Port of Anacortes. That is such a great venue.

After sitting vacant for more than a year, the Secret Cove property is now under full Port ownership. Following a cooperative agreement among all parties involved, the Port now owns both the land and the building for the first time. While planning for the site's future has not yet begun, full ownership gives the Port the ability to guide its long-term use and return the property to productive commercial marine activity.

"We are excited to be in full control of the building and that we struck a deal that serves each party's interests," said John Dumas, Executive Director. "Although planning conversations for the future of the property have not begun, our primary goal is always to serve the highest and best use of our properties."

Give that spider some glucosamine.

Our spider was a little late getting up this year. Her arthritis was acting up, and she needed a little knee surgery! But she’s back in business and stronger than ever, thanks to a group of local students who helped paint her up.
