Love doesn’t depend on sexual relationships.
Generally, it can be stated that true love means respect, trust, and the desire to be honest with one’s partner.
It is more about being kind to one another, being there for one another, living life with one another, and even surviving it together.
Respect entails acknowledging as well as accepting others’ opinions, emotions and limits.
Trust is about the confidence two or more people have in each other to depend on each other always.
Truthfulness is the basis of trust and the way to create a good communication between people.
As we can see, without these core values, love cannot fully exist in its proper sense of the word.
Physical attraction may wane; but respect, trust, and honesty that are sources of love are meant to endure.
