Thank you to everyone who showed up for our nonprofit panel at Intersessions!

Jena Ashby from Nonprofit Support Network, C.S. Hendershot from Second Harvest Food Bank of East Central Indiana, Suzanne Clem from 8twelve Coalition, and Carly Acree-King from MadJax Muncie led a great conversation on the importance of storytelling and tapping into identity for your marketing.

UPDATE: This was our last Intersessions live at the Innovation Connector. Thank you everyone who showed up and supported the start of Intersessions the last three years. We're moving to a digital format in 2027 to make it even more accessible. Stay tuned for more details!

Big fun deserves a website to match!

We partnered with A-1 for Fun to create a website that makes it easier to plan unforgettable events of all sizes.

Browse inflatables, carnival games, interactive attractions, concessions, tents, tables, chairs, and more, all in one place. Then, request a quote when you are ready to start planning.

For nonprofits, marketing is not separate from the mission. It is how people learn why the work matters, who it serves, and how they can be part of it.

But when time, funding, and staff capacity are limited, deciding what to prioritize is not always simple.

Next Tuesday on September 22, four local nonprofit leaders will share how they approach those decisions in the real world. Join us for our panel discussion, "Why Nonprofits Have to Think About Marketing," and what that looks like when you are balancing it with everything else.

RSVP at the link in the comments so we have enough breakfast to go around. Thank you to our sponsors Innovation Connector and Destination: Muncie.

Join us for Intersessions on September 22 for a panel discussion with nonprofit leaders from across our community who will be talking about visibility, funding, and how to get your organization’s message out with a small team or limited capacity.

Running a nonprofit means wearing a lot of hats. "Marketer" is usually one nobody signed up for.

See Muncie White River in a new way!

We partnered with the Delaware County Soil and Water Conservation District to create a website for people to find information and connect with this important natural resource that has helped shape ECI for generations.

Find recreation maps and launch points, wildlife and history, conservation resources, and even real-time river conditions.

You're leaving leads on the table.

At our last Intersessions, Derek McClain from C1 Truck Driver Training, shared one of his simplest and most effective sales tools: a photo of a messy, handwritten sign-in sheet and a little help from AI.

The process:
· Snap a picture of the sign-in sheet at your event
· Let AI turn it into a clean spreadsheet
· Prompt AI for a few follow-up email drafts, then coach it into your own voice
· Send it out same-day or next-day

After just doing this for one event, he gained 3 new clients.

AI won't replace the fundamentals of sales and marketing. But it will help you move faster on the basics.

This calls for a celebration!

Accutech Systems Corporation, just made the Inc. 5000 list for the FIFTH year in a row. This distinction puts them among the fastest-growing private companies in the country.

It takes a special kind of consistency to earn this five years running, and we're proud to be one of the three business units that make up the Accutech family.

Huge congrats to the whole Accutech team on this milestone!

We're hiring an Account Director at Intersection. This role is built for someone with agency, media or brand experience who wants more ownership over client strategy.

A huge thank you to Derek McClain for making the trip back to his hometown of Muncie and sharing 20+ years of hard-earned wisdom at Intersessions this week.

Derek hit home in his discussion that sales and marketing aren't two separate worlds. They are part of one customer experience. And if your two most revenue-critical functions aren't talking to each other, you're working twice as hard for half the results.

He also shared some great success stories from his experience.

Stay tuned for the full video of the session and details on our next Intersessions on September 22.

Thank you to our attendees and sponsors Innovation Connector and Destination: Muncie for helping us bring this event to our community.
