Family-owned commercial printing company seeks additional help to operate and run offset presses, experienced Operators and Feeders to run sheetfed Ryobi presses, also on digital machines.

Printing press operators and printing press operator assistants prepare, operate, and maintain printing presses. Their principal duties include installing and adjusting printing plates, loading and feeding paper, mixing inks and controlling ink flow, and ensuring the quality of the final printed piece. Must be able to operate bindery equipment; cutter, folder, numbering machine.

Job Responsibilities:

Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
Operate press to produce highest quality print product, accurate and according to customer specifications.
Complete make-ready in accordance with the Job Ticket and Product Specification documents to ensure accuracy.
Maintain consistent quality during the production run.
Complete all required quality checks for copy, color, registration, ink adhesion, etc.
Perform routine maintenance and daily cleaning protocol.
Other tasks as needed.

Print shop has immediate opening for graphic designer who has a strong background on Macs and Creative Suites, especially Indesign. Print experience highly desired (knowledge of CMYK, spot colors, bleeds, etc).

Designer will create and also make customers' provided files print ready for a variety of projects to run on presses and digital printers. Will also be responsible for printing all jobs on the digital printers and meeting with customers to discuss job requirements. Examples of work we do include business cards, invitations, booklets, yard signs, invoices, envelopes and much much more.

Candidate must be detail-oriented and able to manage and prioritize project schedules and deadlines.
