Every wedding day has quiet moments.
Moments where everything slows down for just a second.
Jennifer had just finished signing the marriage license. The vows had been spoken. The promises made. And before stepping back into the celebration, she paused for a moment with her bouquet.
The natural light coming through the windows at Wadley Farms framed her perfectly between the massive castle doors. It felt peaceful, reflective… almost like the calm breath after a big life moment.
I have to admit, I really enjoy photographing second marriages and weddings for couples who have lived a little life already.
There’s often a deeper appreciation for the moment.
A quiet understanding of what commitment means.
And a lot of joy in beginning the next chapter.
Those are the moments I love to capture.
If you're planning a wedding and want photographs that capture the real moments between the big ones, I'd love to talk.
📅 2026 wedding dates are filling up, but there is still some availability.

Mark and Taylor flew in from New Jersey for a conference… and decided if they were coming all the way to Utah, they were going to do it right.

So we headed out to the Bonneville Salt Flats.

There is nothing like this place. The endless white. The mountains rising in the distance. The sky that feels twice as big as anywhere else. You simply can’t recreate this in a studio or a park back east. It’s uniquely Utah — raw, open, and unforgettable.

Now let’s be honest… it’s almost always windy out there. And yes, it was windy. But that’s part of the adventure. I either posed them in ways that controlled the movement in her hair or waited for those perfect in-between moments when everything aligned. Sometimes great images aren’t rushed — they’re timed.

What I love about this session is how natural they are together. Sitting on the salt laughing at sunset. Holding hands in the open expanse. That quiet forehead-to-forehead moment with the mountains behind them. These aren’t stiff engagement poses — these are real moments in a once-in-a-lifetime setting.

If you’re traveling to Utah — or even if you live here and have never experienced it — the Salt Flats are something special. Just remember: if you go, respect the land. Practice leave no trace. This place is fragile, and we’re guests out there.

If you want engagement images that feel epic, intimate, and uniquely Utah, let’s plan something incredible.

Message me and let’s create something you can’t get anywhere else.

I love that you love this one — because this is exactly the kind of image that reminds couples why hiring an experienced photographer matters.

Here’s a Facebook post in your voice:

This is still one of my all-time favorite wedding images.

Taken in front of the Salt Lake Temple, this moment wasn’t stiff or overly posed. It was pure joy. Pure personality. Pure “WE JUST GOT MARRIED.”

I remember telling them, “On three, give me everything you’ve got.”
And they did.

The jump. The thumbs up. The bouquet flying. The dress moving. The expressions? Completely real.

After 17 years of photographing weddings, I’ve learned that the magic doesn’t come from forcing a pose. It comes from creating space for couples to feel comfortable enough to be themselves.

Anyone can line you up and say “smile.”

But it takes experience to:
• Read the moment
• Anticipate the movement
• Nail the exposure in bright temple light
• Freeze the action perfectly
• And still keep it fun

Your wedding day isn’t a photo shoot. It’s a once-in-a-lifetime celebration. My job is to guide you calmly, clearly, and confidently so that moments like this happen naturally.

2026 dates are filling quickly, especially temple weddings.

If you’re getting married and want images that feel joyful, bold, and completely you — let’s talk.

Send me a message and let’s check your date before the calendar fills.

This is Jennifer, just moments into her wedding day at Wadley Farms Castle.

The day was full and fast-moving, but when I saw these massive wooden doors and the soft, indirect light wrapping in from both sides, I knew we had something special. We stepped into this spot, made one beautiful formal, and Jennifer was back with her guests within minutes. Calm. Efficient. No stress added to an already busy day.

This is always my goal on a wedding day:
to stay alert for great light and meaningful settings, create something timeless quickly, and let the day keep unfolding naturally.

✨ And this is just the beginning—there’s much more from this wedding coming soon.

You spend months—sometimes more than a year—choosing the colors, textures, and meaningful details that quietly say this is who we are. The cake, the flowers, the invitations, the table settings… none of it is accidental.

On a wedding day, things move fast. It’s easy for those carefully chosen details to blur together or be forgotten entirely. My role is to slow that part of the day down—to notice, preserve, and photograph those details so they don’t disappear.

With 17+ years of experience, I know how to capture these elements in a way that reflects you, not just what was on the table. These images become anchors—photographs that help you remember how the day felt, long after the décor is gone and the cake is eaten.

If you want wedding photos that tell the full story—big moments and the meaningful details—let’s talk.

Bridal sessions are about so much more than a beautiful dress. They’re about anticipation, joy, and telling your story before the wedding day even arrives.

For this bride, that story included honoring her heritage. She chose to incorporate her traditional Maasai headpiece into part of her bridal session, and the pride and happiness she felt wearing it was unmistakable. It wasn’t just something she put on for photos—it was a celebration of who she is and where she comes from.

As if the moment wasn’t already magical enough, a small herd of deer quietly wandered through the apple orchard while we were photographing her. We paused, smiled, and soaked it all in together—one of those unexpected, once-in-a-lifetime moments that turns a photo session into a memory you’ll tell stories about for years.

On the wedding day, her bridal portrait was displayed at the reception, and guests couldn’t stop talking about it. Today, that same portrait hangs in her parents’ home—a daily reminder of her joy, her pride, and a beautiful season of life they’ll always treasure.

This is why I love bridals.
They aren’t just photos.
They’re memories made, stories preserved, and artwork that lives on long after the wedding day is over.
