Monday afternoon called for a change of scenery, so the Revel team headed to BoDocks for happy hour on the water.

We shared some apps, caught up on the week, and somehow ended up trading first-job stories after Cindy asked the table what everyone's very first job was. Turns out our team has some good ones.

This is the kind of thing that's easy to skip when the week gets busy. We're glad we didn't. A team that enjoys sitting around a table together usually does good work together too.

Revel just hit 10 years named as one of West Michigan's Best and Brightest Companies to Work, so naturally Jason and Andy took the whole team to a West Michigan Whitecaps game to celebrate in a suite at LMCU Ballpark.

Ballpark food, way too many photos with the mascot, and a walk-off homer in the ninth that had the whole crowd on its feet.

Final score: Whitecaps 7, Lansing 5.

Yesterday we traded the conference room for the balcony and spent lunch just hanging out.

Danielle and her husband Paul brought a wood-fired pizza oven and real pizza mastery. Fresh dough, wood fire, toppings for everyone. The prosciutto and apple pie disappeared fast.

No agendas, no work talk. Just good food and good company. That's balcony time at its best.

A good baseball scout doesn't fall for Twitter highlights. They show up early, watch batting practice, and pay attention to what happens when nobody thinks they're being watched.

Our CEO Jason Piasecki says employer branding works the same way. The talent and the culture are usually already in the building. Somebody just has to notice and put it where people can see.

This year marked the 6th Annual Revel Road Time, and it might've been our most memorable one yet!

Between the record-breaking heat and wildfire smoke rolling in from Canada, this year threw some curveballs, but the balcony was packed anyway.

The charcuterie board everyone knows and loves got some new company this year too, with a nacho bar and a spread of hot apps rounding things out.

Huge thanks to everyone who came out to celebrate with us, conditions and all!

Whether you've been with us since year one or joined the party for the first time, we're so glad you were part of it.
