In 2017, I built a long drive golf organization from a blank screen.
No brand. No audience. No budget to speak of.
Just a social-first strategy, a belief in the sport, and a system designed to grow.
Today, Ultimate Long Drive is the largest long drive golf organization in the world — 200+ events annually, sanctioned in 9 countries, members competing from age 7 to 85+.
That's what we do at Zeus Digital Marketing. We don't just run campaigns. We build the systems underneath them.
Here's what twenty-plus years in this business has taught me:
Tactics are rented. Systems are owned.
Every platform changes its algorithm. Ad costs go up. Organic reach shrinks. The agencies selling you this month's hot tactic will be selling you a different one next month.
What doesn't change is whether your marketing infrastructure is actually built to convert — whether your website, your content, your distribution, and your reputation are working together as a system or just coexisting as a collection of disconnected expenses.
We've been building that kind of infrastructure for clients since the early 2000s.
We were producing video and podcasts in 2008 before most businesses considered it relevant. We recognized the broadcast-to-streaming shift early enough to build WingDing® — our own OTT platform — which launched in 2021 and generated over 50 million views in 2025.
We've supported Traveling Golfer for 10+ years. Four-time Best Golf TV Show in America. Ten consecutive national achievement awards.
And we've done all of it from Myrtle Beach, SC — not a coastal tech hub, not a major market. Just a team that knows how to build things that work.
If your marketing feels like a cost center instead of a growth engine, I'd genuinely enjoy a conversation.
The full story is linked below. Worth a read if you're evaluating what a real marketing partnership looks like.
