3D puff embroidery in process on flat brin hat. The white is the foam which we sew over to add loft.

Ever wonder how 3D puff embroidery is created and why it is more expensive? The quick answer is time and materials. We have to adjust settings on the machines and slow them down when running these and we also have the added cost of the foam that sits underneath, which is what gives it the loft. 3D puff is great for lower detail thicker lined artwork and adds great dimension resulting in a cool high end finish. Once the embroidery is complete there is also more finishing work which takes more time but the end results are worth it with the right design.
