Admitting your bias can make you MORE credible when you’re speaking in public.

In fact, I’d argue that pretending to be objective is often less trustworthy than openly admitting where you’re coming from.

The founder is biased.

The journalist is biased.

The politician is biased.

The audience already knows this.

So what’s more credible:

Someone with a bias?

Or someone pretending they don’t have one?
