How to plan a full month of music content in 1 hour:

First step - content type - If you have a song release this month, focus on promotion content, if you want to focus on growth between songs, focus on awareness, engagement and nurturing content

The second step, amount - easy, moderate or hard - there’s no right or wrong here - if you can’t post 7 times a week, 3 good posts can sometimes be enough.

The third step - plan your month - Add your content ideas to the calendar - while rotating between different content types

If you want a list of over 300 music content templates divided by different content type and a content calendar to plan out your next month - comment ‘CONTENT’ and I will send it over 📨

What to do before you release a song, because a lot of artists do all of this in the wrong order…

I go through seven things in the video and they all connect to each other.

You need feedback before you spend any money, a Spotify profile that doesn’t look empty, your content already filmed, playlists that fit your genre, ads approved before release day, and your own artist playlist so people hear more than one song. And then you need a timeline for all of it.

I feel like most releases go nowhere because nothing was ready before release day, and the song itself was usually fine.

You can promote your music without ever showing your face (But only promote music - not grow your fanbase.)

A lot of musicians hold back on posting because they hate being on camera. So this carousel shows you the 3 types of reels that work with zero face time, plus how to film a week of clips in 15 minutes.

And if you never want to run out of ideas, I put over 300 reel ideas for musicians into the Content Vault, with real video examples you can copy. Comment VAULT and I will send you the link.

After over 10 years in music... I finally realized this:

You've probably heard it all. "Maybe music isn't for you." "You're not good enough." "You should've made it by now."

But those people are measuring the wrong thing.

Look at a lot of musicians who "made it," the ones with millions of streams, sold-out shows, record deals. A lot of them are burnt out and struggling with their mental health.

They became products of their labels, making what sells instead of what matters to them. Their relationships suffer because they're always on the road, always chasing the next milestone. And even when they get there, it's never enough.

Now look at yourself.

Maybe you chose to be present for your family instead of grinding at the studio every night.

Maybe you kept your friendships and showed up for the people who matter.

Maybe you chose your mental health over the pressure of making music pay your rent.

Maybe you chose stability so you could keep making music without it destroying you.

Ten years of making music on your own terms, without burning yourself out or sacrificing the people you love for it, that's its own kind of commitment.

Success in music is mostly about what you're willing to sacrifice. And choosing not to sacrifice everything is still a decision. It says more about your values than your stream count ever will.

I have been playing a different game the whole time. And that's something most people won't understand until much later.

And I'm okay with not becoming who I thought I’d be at 12. I’m happier now.

If this resonates, follow me and tell me in the comments what you've chosen to protect 👐🏻
