Your website might be costing you clients right now, and you’d never even know it.
That’s the scary part. A bad ad, you notice. A logo you hate, you notice. But a website that isn’t converting fails you in total silence. There’s no error message. Nobody emails to say “I almost booked you, and then I didn’t.” They just leave, and you never find out.
And most of the time, it’s not that the site is ugly. Hear that part the most. It’s that the site doesn’t have a job. Someone lands on it and there’s no clear next step, no single thing you actually want them to do. So they do the easiest thing, which is nothing.
The website that actually books people is almost boring in how focused it is. One person. One problem it solves. One obvious next step. That’s the whole idea.
Pretty is nice. But pretty was never the only job. Clear is the job.
And if you’ve been avoiding sending your own link, if you catch yourself typing “ignore the website, it’s a work in progress” every time you share it, that feeling has a name. It’s website shame. And it’s the most common thing I see in women who are really, really good at what they do.
If that’s you, I made you something. My Website Gut Check walks you through exactly where your site is losing people, with a score and clear next steps. Comment WEBSITE CHECKLIST and I’ll send it over.
