It all began on July 2, 1776. On that day, the Continental Congress voted in favor of independence. Two days later, the delegates of the 13 colonies adopted the Declaration of Independence, a document drafted by Thomas Jefferson (who later became President and ironically died on another July 4th).
Since then, the 4th of July has been celebrated as the official birth of American independence. It is one of the most significant celebrations in the country!
Gob Bless America!!! The land of the free!

I am so grateful to have gotten to hear these two Great Giants from our Music industry speak with such wisdom.
I have been so blessed to work with Miles Pike for many years, after meeting him at a Stamps/Baxter event. And interestingly enough when I returned to Nashville after college, I have fond memories of “gaining more love for Christ” in a bible study lead by Michael Card. I pray Our Lord’s hand on these two men as they go forward… and continue to “lift Him up” in their words and song.
