A true taste of France is coming soon to Nashville! 🥐🇫🇷 This April, will bring authentic French pastries, tradition, and hospitality to the city. Led by Chef Mathis Combaluzier, along with his father Arnaud Combaluzier, the family-owned café is designed to be the home of the croissant in Nashville and a neighborhood destination for morning coffee, leisurely brunches, and everything in between.
Born and raised in Provence in southeastern France, Chef Mathis pursued formal training at , widely regarded as one of the top pastry schools in the world, then honed his craft at internationally renowned establishments including Pierre Hermé in Paris, the Mandarin Oriental in Paris, and Mila Restaurant in Miami Beach. Olala Café will focus on scratch-made sweet and savory croissants that are fermented slowly, folded precisely, and baked fresh daily to achieve the flaky, buttery texture that defines classic French pastry.
