What to Expect from Your Headshot Experience with Butter Media Group

Getting a headshot should be an experience that leaves you feeling confident and empowered—because it’s not just about a picture, it’s about how you show up to the world. Here’s how we make that happen:

Before you even step foot in the studio, we’ve got you covered. You’ll receive an email with all the details—guidance on what to wear, how to prepare, and answers to the most common questions so you walk in ready to own your session.

When you arrive, I’ll greet you at the door and walk you into our studio space, where you’ll feel right at home. From there, it’s all about you. I’ll offer expression coaching to bring out your best self, helping you find the right angles and expressions to create a genuine connection with your audience.

We’ll shoot for a bit, and then it’s time to review the images together. If we want to take more, that’s totally fine—this session is about you. Want to change wardrobe? Perfect! This is a premium experience, and we’ll take the time we need to get the images you love.

Once we’ve captured everything, we’ll grab a drink, sit down, and go through the photos. You’ll narrow down the ones that resonate most with you—and the best part? You only pay for the ones you love.

"I'm not photogenic" is something I hear often, probably 85% of the time as my clients greet me. Sometimes it's the first words out of their mouth. Negative self-image is what we project when we are nervous, uncomfortable, and unsure—in fact, those conditions are breeding grounds for creating a negative self-image.

My clients' experience is much different. We take our time. I coach them through body posture and expression. In the process, almost as a sleight of hand, we exchange negative for positive. Before they're aware of what's happened, they're presenting to the world their best self.

They leave feeling renewed with images they're excited to share and leverage. We captured them at their peak to remind themselves and the world of who they are.
