tonight, the National Pickleball League - nplpickleball.com is taking over the CBS Sports network at 10:30PM ET! ⁣
⁣
This past October, the NPL team and I hopped flights to Glendale, AZ and turned Westgate Entertainment District PINK in honor of Breast Cancer awareness. We kicked off their Championship weekend by hosting Pickle for P.I.N.K. (Prevention, Immediate diagnosis, New technology, Knowledge) 🎀🏓💞 as a way to celebrate survivors, honor the taken, and support those who are currently fighting. I had the pleasure of working with players in the league to build out the concept, engage the Play for P.I.N.K. team to directly support 16 researchers, and watch as Megan Phillips brought the creative inspiration to life. ⁣
⁣
After an evening of pickleball under the lights of Desert Diamond Arena, the National Pickleball League Championship play took place. We concluded the three-day weekend with CBS Sports cameras capturing an All-Star TeamBreaker and iconic match play featuring some of the best Champions Pros in the world. These aren't just average players, they're professional tennis players, professional golfers, and business executives showcasing to the world that age is no barrier to pursuing greatness on and off the court.⁣
⁣
As we all gear up for the two-hour special airing tonight, I encourage you to tune in if you're curious about the sport that has taken the country by storm! Here's to hoping I only appear for a couple of shots, don't make any embarrassing faces, and that the camera doesn't actually add ten pounds 📺🤦🏻‍♀️😂
