But today was different.

Hugo woke me earlier than I wanted, insisting it was time to go outside. By the time we came back in, I was wide awake, so I brewed a cup of coffee and resigned myself to the early hour.

Then I looked up from the sink.

And there she was, slowly waking beneath a pillow of clouds, as if the morning had been waiting for me to notice.

Some mornings you get up because you have to. And every once in a while, you realize you were supposed to.

I’ll forgive Hugo for this one. 🌅☕️🐾

Remember, you don’t have to agree on everything. But change is necessary, and Blackburn is NOT a good person. I’ve been to intimate meetings with her senate staff and with her at the Tennessee breakfast in DC. She is clueless and daft and does not listen without a big check in her hands and another in her back pocket.

Listen to Jerri Green. Read her website. Use your own judgment with information versus party loyalty. I’ve voted all over the board over the years, and right now, the Overton window is so far right that we’re ripe to be taken advantage of. We have been over and over, especially with workers rights, billionaire tax breaks, private school vouchers, and data center guinea pigging.

We are sold as the “cheap labor” state, and farmers like the ones in my hometown won’t play their chicken games and ruin the town.

Stop letting wedge issues that have nothing to do with our state’s problems be the reason you vote for someone. Those are fake carrot sticks dangling in front of our eyes, so we don’t see the sleight of hand. The public is so easily manipulated and calculated. Believe me, I used to calculate behavioral statistics for Fortune 50 companies. YDKWYDK
