Sentient Drones! One size fits all as a service! All municipalities, all departments, $ forever! Why would you do it any other way!
When you think about it, there is no other acceptable way to have a commercial drone fleet to handle all the different departments requirements within any city or state with any reasonable expectation of financial efficiency or wide ranging coverage.
There is no other way to have complete long term support with the best possible consistent and compatible equipment across all departments and usages!
With this type of system cities and other metropolitan entities would lease access to the system at an affordable and sustainable rate and the services would be shared across all departments and needs through a central dispatch center.
All maintenance, repair, upgrades and new systems would be built into the system and handled by the company or companies providing the services.
All of the flight control and safety would be handled by the dispatch center and built in AI on all systems.
Fine tuning of positioning could be as simple as an app on the cell phones on the first human responders. They would not be responsible for flying or maintaining safety just fine turning the point of view if needed.
The drones would become the actual first responders and could video back to dispatch the actual conditions on the ground or event location wherever it is including the top of the tallest building, mountains or towers.
This video and sensor information could be relayed to the human first responders in route so they would know what to expect and be properly prepared on arrival with the right equipment and manpower. No more guessing.
The drones can easily be programmed to stay on site as long as needed and if batteries started running low or some system malfunction was detected the next nearest drone could be automatically dispatched by the system to the event site and once there take over so the original could return for fresh batteries or repair and be ready for the next event or replacement scenario.
All of this and much much more are doable with the technology we have right now!
All it takes is someone with the will power, and of course the resources to make it happen!
This is where it’s going to end up people. After all the other methods have been tried and failed miserably, in the end, this or something very close to it is the only way that makes any reasonable sense.
