We look at four primary areas: design, content, user experience, and general website functionality.

Design - This means colors, fonts, space, photos, logos, etc. We look at everything seen by the human eye.

Businesses are leaving money on the table if they either (a) don’t have a Google Business Profile or (b) are not leveraging their profile to the fullest extent.

Your Google Business Profile (GBP) is a way to generate leads outside of traditional SEO. Many people do not know this, but the ranking system for Google Business results (both in Search and Maps) is separate from the traditional, blue-link search results. This means you need a separate strategy for each area.

One HUGE advantage to having a GBP is access to the most prominent placement in search results. Google often displays a “3 pack” of businesses at the top of searches deemed “local”. This applies to both service businesses and brick-and-mortar stores. Being in the top 3 results is very important if you want to collect organic leads.

WARNING: A clever new scam is going around... and it involves your website's contact form.

Several clients have told us they've received messages accusing them of "copyright infringement". The writer (usually posing as a lawyer from a law firm) then informs our clients that they are taking legal action for some photo or piece of content on the website.

Usually, some form of link is attached, allegedly showing the problematic content. DON'T click the link. It's a scam.

We've started receiving emails like the one pictured. The scammer will often use legitimate website domains in the contact form to make it look real.

The Process Behind SEO Work: 4-Step Methodology.

SEO (Search Engine Optimization) involves a lot of moving parts. But really, all this work can be boiled down to four separate steps. These steps are repeated over and over, like a cycle.

Consult: This is where we get at the root problem or core goal for our clients. SEO is a tool, and a tool is only useful when it’s directed to a specific end.

Strategize: We lay the groundwork for the web infrastructure we need to build, pages that need to be created, etc. An internal plan is drafted and timelines are assigned for this sprint.

Fulfillment: This is where the work happens. We write content, develop pages, create graphics, design posts, and restructure site architecture.

Measurement: We measure results and report back. Monthly reports are sent on our progress and work.

This cycle can be repeated as part of a campaign or several campaigns, over weeks or months. We follow this methodology so our results can be (a) documented and (b) repeatable.
