We’re celebrating our amazing Dressing Well Method all week —April 1st is her anniversary — no joke!

Last night I had a chance to put the method into action. After working all day with a client, I dashed home, jumped into my black dress (a wardrobe staple) and then popped it with my lilac blazer — hello spring!

Fun fact: I was headed to the Harvard Club where I was married 35 years ago celebrating new friendships this time around.

If you find yourself staring into a closet full of clothes with nothing to wear and second guessing yourself when you head out to any event, join us tomorrow night at 7 PM ET in our Facebook group. I’ll be doing a full tutorial on our 5 Step methodology. Prizes and surprises will be part of the fun. Link in bio to join our free group. Your closet will thank you for attending!

Thank you for inviting me to your client appreciation event. You are one of the best health coaches I have ever worked with.

Cheering you and the other delightful women gathered. What a treat to be included💗

Hard to believe 30 years have passed since we lost my Dad. Far too soon.

His compassion and strong commitment to family and community lives on in all of us and his 9 grandchildren who never met him yet acquired a special piece of his legacy.

One of the best networkers and lifelong builders of personal and professional relationships I have ever encountered, he gave me my first business lessons and paved the way for my entrepreneurial spirit.

He truly believed anything was possible with some focus and a little Yankee ingenuity.

Thanks for continuing to shine your light on all of us, Dad. Missing you this week and always ❤️

On International Women’s Day, saluting these three special ladies who have had the biggest influence on my life and career:

➡️ My Aunt Joan who gave me my first style book and
with it the confidence to develop my gifts and share them with others.

➡️ My grandmother, a widowed mom of three young children who prioritized education and self-reliance to be sure her children thrived. An impeccable dresser, I believe presence was one of her secret weapons. I took note.

➡️ My mom, the teacher, who showed me and my three siblings through example how to give openly and unconditionally to any student. Our Foundation was greatly influenced by my mom’s spirit and generosity.

How about you? Who were your earliest female mentors and what gifts did they impart?

I started this post asking myself this question and am filled with pride with the reflection and how easy it was to put words to each contribution. I am counting my blessings for sure.

Celebrating us all on a day that prompts us to pause and pay tribute to all the women who have shaped our experiences.

The sisterhood is worth noting!

One more stop (& shop!) in Washington, DC as we make our way back to Boston after our February stay in South Carolina.

Found this sweatsuit at Athleta. I refresh my Athleisure wear ahead of each season. This sign certainly spoke to me!

This was an easy choice to lighten things up as we get ready to embrace spring.

Lots of soft yellows, pinks and greens being shown alongside all sorts of gray right now.

This color is slate and the fabric so soft. I’ll be living in it thru June in New England for sure.

Link in bio to checkout these 2 pieces for yourself: https://www.dressingwell.com/linktree/ . I also have some links to my favorite light gray Ugg socks and dark gray slip on Birkenstocks. My outfit is complete!

Thanks for following along on our adventure. What an amazing month we had!

South Carolina in February is so much fun!

My husband and I are here for the month, working remotely and reconnecting with friends (& each other!)

Thrilled to have a “Galentine’s” date on Saturday with dear friend Janis Robinson Daly to catch up and celebrate her new book “Under Two Flags,” her third historical fiction book in as many years!

Janis and I met working in the Marketing and PR department of Boston’s Children’s Museum many, many years ago. It’s a joy to watch her new career bloom.

I loved her first two books and can’t wait to dive into this one. It is the retelling of a memoir from the first World War originally ghostwritten by her grandfather. History and literature are certainly in her genes!

Order yours today. Janis loves presenting at book clubs too. Go Janis ❤️
