Ruth Corcoran started Corcoran Communications, a public relations, marketing, advertising and event coordination firm, in August 2000. After spending many years in the corporate world, as regional marketing director of a national bank and public relations director of an award-winning advertising agency, she saw a need regionally for a company that focused specifically on public relations related s

ervices. She began by doing small freelance projects and in a few short years grew into a highly regarded company that services more than 40 clients in a variety of industries. Corcoran’s clients range from small, start up businesses to large national companies, and include an academy-award nominated film producer, a multi-state Accounting & Consulting Firm, a Performing Arts Center, Several regional Economic Development organizations and Chambers of Commerce, Retail Stores, a Security Company, a Real Estate Company, a national food-service company, a Construction Company, a National Car Brand, Law Firms, several area non-profits, a renowned medical education program and Credit Unions locally and in New York City, among others.
