My most Metal tribute showcase....probly in 2009 @ Skillman Street Bar....they wanted a Tribute Promoter/Booking Agent, and I had a Stage Manager and the best sound engineer in Dallas, James from formerly The Curtain, so they stole me from The Bone. So, I heard War Ensemble is still together, cool. I had two Rush tributes I worked with, Anthem & The Camera Eye

My first Tribute Showcase in Dallas!!

I had just moved to Dallas the month before, and created my business name, X-treme Promotions.
It was advertised on what was then 93.1 The Bone and The Dallas Observer. It was a legendary turnout for The Bone, was on The Rooftop.
I had the promo idea for 5 bands for a $5 Cover.
I had radio celebrities come & tried to ride the door, but I made them pay lol
I was told by the owner the next day that every club owner in Deep Ellum (downtown Dallas Arts district) came up. Word had even gotten out to my hangout, O'Riley's that I had killed it!! Tributes have always been my thang
Less than a year later, I was the booking agent for The Bone

Tooth & Nail was my first tribute I booked in Dallas in November '06. It was @ Lakewood Bar & Grill (LBG). Russ Contreras, Guitarist.
I had not exactly moved to Dallas yet, was coming up on weekends. A month or two later, Russ told me that he had a new vocalist, Travis Wills. So I went to their 1st show @ O'Riley's. They were together for a good run. GREAT BAND
Travis now has a Dokken tribute called ROKKEN, and Russ is currently working on a EUROPE tribute, and is Guitarist for Foreigner tribute, DOUBLE VISION.

In early '07, I brought ESCAPE to O' Riley's for their debut show. ESCAPE is still performing in the DFW Metroplex. Also, GREAT BAND

I eventually quit my State job in March & moved to Dallas...
