Think Color Analysis is bu****it?
Think you can’t see the difference?

Let’s change that narrative with this video.

I want you to see if you can spot the difference between Warm vs Cool on yours truly. You get to see me in action this time all covered up. 🤣

Couple things to note:

1. ALL colors compared are medium value & medium intensity.

2. The system I use is the 16/23 Palette System and these drapes come from the International Image Institute. If you are used to watching specific systems, this will be different.

3. I’m blind as hell without my glasses, so if I keep looking around all weird, I can’t see. If you have a problem with it, there’s other fish to fry. 🤷🏻‍♂️

4. The metal test is another way to see if someone can handle one over the other and not necessarily a primary step in the undertone test.

“I hate blue on me.”

That’s one of the biggest clues you may have a warm undertone. 👀

We see this all the time with True Spring, True Autumn, Warm Autumn and Warm Spring clients. Why is that you may ask? 🤔

Blue naturally sits on the cool side of the color wheel. Even warmer blues (added yellow to them) still carry a cool perception, which can make fully warm undertones look dull, tired, or disconnected when they wear the wrong version of blue.

So if you’ve always struggled wearing blue… your undertone may be telling you something. ✨
