Sean Donovan brings more than three decades of experience in the signage industry, with a career that began in 1991 and has spanned nearly every aspect of the process, from design and production to project management and account leadership. He joined Poyant in 2024 as an Account Manager, where he immediately began supporting national accounts with his deep industry knowledge.

Since joining the team, Sean has played a key role in managing multi-location programs, drawing on over 25 years of experience supporting the Dunkin’ brand through proposal development, quoting, and long-term rollout planning.

What sets Sean apart is his hands-on understanding of how signage moves from concept to installation. Having worked in the field, production environments, and client-facing roles, he brings a well-rounded perspective that strengthens coordination across teams and builds trust with clients who rely on Poyant as a long-term partner. Sean takes pride in the versatility of his role, whether collaborating with leadership, supporting installations, or guiding national rollouts, and values being someone clients can consistently count on.

A building canopy does more than provide cover at an entrance. It can also become a strong branding opportunity.

By integrating signage directly into the canopy, businesses can create a clear point of arrival, improve visibility, and reinforce their identity in a way that feels intentional to the architecture. From dimensional letters to illuminated elements, the right canopy signage helps guide visitors while giving the entrance a more polished, professional presence.

At Poyant, we help clients think beyond the sign itself and consider how every element works together to strengthen the overall brand experience.

A rebrand only works if the physical space catches up.

When The Pasta House became Bocca, the new identity needed to feel intentional everywhere customers encountered it. Poyant helped carry that refreshed brand across the property, from the building-mounted signage to the roadside identification, creating a more cohesive and elevated presence from the street to the front door.

That is where the right signage partner makes a difference.

A successful rebrand is not simply replacing one logo with another. It means understanding the existing conditions, translating a new visual identity into signage that works with the architecture, planning for removal and replacement, and making sure every element feels like part of the same brand.

The result for Bocca is a stronger exterior identity that feels polished, recognizable and consistent across the property.

For businesses preparing for a rebrand, refresh or name change, Poyant can help take the new brand off the page and bring it into the built environment with one experienced team guiding the process from design through fabrication and installation.

Last week, Dunkin' served up something special for its four-legged customers in celebration of National Dog Day. 🐾🍩

In celebration of National Dog Day, the Dunkin’ at 588 Washington Street in Quincy, Massachusetts, was transformed into a one-of-a-kind Doggie Drive-Thru benefiting the Dunkin’ Joy in Childhood Foundation.

Poyant was proud to donate the custom BARK letter sets featured on the location’s pylon sign, helping bring this playful store takeover to life and capture the attention of pups and people alike.

Congratulations to Victor Carvalho and the entire Dunkin’ team for hosting such a fun and meaningful experience. Thank you to Inspire Brands and BARK for including Poyant in a project that brought the community together while supporting an important cause.

Additional Joy and BARK branding throughout the location was produced by Dark Horse Experiential.

We love seeing how creative signage can transform a familiar place into an experience people will remember!

A building sign should do more than tell people your name. It should make your business easier to find, strengthen your identity, and create a memorable first impression.

Mounted directly to a building, these signs can incorporate dimensional channel letters, illuminated cabinets, push-through acrylic, and other custom elements. The right combination depends on the architecture, viewing distance, lighting conditions, and the brand itself.

At Miller’s Famous Sandwiches in East Providence, Poyant brought these elements together through dimensional lettering, illuminated push-through graphics, faux-neon accents, and marquee lighting. The result is a distinctive building sign that captures the restaurant’s personality and stands out day or night.

Whether your business needs a simple storefront sign or a fully custom illuminated display, the right building signage makes your brand part of the environment.

Good signage does more than identify a building. It helps people navigate the spaces around it.

At Dexter Street Commons in Pawtucket, Rhode Island, Poyant brought together architectural identification and pedestrian wayfinding to create a more connected property experience.

Halo-lit channel letters identify the development along the streetscape, while coordinated building signage clearly marks the entrance at 71 Dexter Street. A custom, double-sided directional sign guides pedestrians toward parking and Mason Street.

Together, these elements establish a consistent identity while helping residents and visitors find their way.

A successful rebrand reaches beyond the logo. It changes how people experience your property from the moment they arrive.

At The Newport Harbor Hotel and Marina, Poyant brought the hotel’s refreshed identity to life across its exterior signage, including the main pylon, marina identification, entrance signage, and Welcome Center.

The project combined new fabrication, sign refacing, and refurbishment, keeping existing structures where practical while updating the elements that mattered most.

The result is a cohesive, modern presence that reflects the hotel’s waterfront setting and creates a stronger first impression for every guest.

Planning a rebrand or property refresh? Let’s talk about how the right signage can bring your vision to life.

At Poyant, being a signage partner means being there when it matters.

Every project receives the same commitment to communication, quality, and attention to detail, whether we're completing a single sign or managing a large, complex signage program.

That commitment extends well beyond design and fabrication. Our team stays actively involved throughout the process, working alongside our customers, contractors, and field teams to keep projects moving, address challenges as they arise, and make sure the finished product meets the standards our customers expect.

Sometimes that means being on site day after day, overseeing progress and making sure every detail comes together as planned.

Because to us, partnership isn't just about delivering signage. It's about taking ownership of the project and being someone our customers can count on from start to finish.

Your signage project deserves a partner who's there every step of the way. Let's build it together.
