Just a little sneak peek of something I’ve been working on for a retired military veteran and police officer who’s become a really good friend of mine in just the last couple weeks.
This one means a little more to me than just another print job.
I wanted the design to feel bold, worn, earned, and powerful — something that reflected both sides of his story while still keeping that gritty American style.
But honestly… what keeps blowing me away during this process is the output quality from the xTool Apparel Printer.
The color saturation.
The white ink coverage.
The detail retention.
The smooth gradients.
And the biggest thing people always ask about with DTF:
Banding.
These close-up process shots are straight from the printer during production, and even zoomed in heavily, the transitions stay smooth and clean. The distressed textures still hold detail, the blacks stay rich, and that blue line absolutely pops in person.
No crazy editing tricks.
No filters hiding flaws.
Just raw process shots while the print was being built layer by layer.
Definitely excited to show the finished piece soon.
