The B&B is sooo back. 🤩

In recent years, a new wave of hoteliers and hospitality pros have given the classic bed and breakfast a modern glow-up. Still rooted in those gourmet morning spreads (and plenty of treats throughout the day), today’s B&Bs are elevating both interior and exterior design while offering expertly curated experiences unique to each location. Think in-house antique shops, onsite vineyards and breweries, supper clubs with local chefs, hands-on cooking experiences, elevated happy hours — the list goes on!

Travelers today are seeking deeper, more meaningful, and more bespoke experiences, and few places embody that shift better than the reimagined bed & breakfast. It was such a treat to work with Matt () on this story, rounding up some of the best B&Bs in the country (including 👋💚)!

In today’s restaurant world, few can say they’ve kept their doors open - and thriving - for more than ten years. It’s a significant milestone that not only reflects Krista’s commitment to her mission when she first opened Sur Lie, but her unwavering passion for great food, hospitality, and community. I’m so glad that others love Sur Lie as much as they do today as they did when it first opened. 🥰

(This is also a great reminder that Sur Lie’s sister restaurant, in Yarmouth), also has a stellar menu worth checking out!)

If there’s one piece of advice I can offer to any business exploring PR representation, it’s this: results take patience and consistency.

I first began pitching this off-grid travel story in May 2024, the same month I started representing Darwin Ranch. It sparked some interest, but was passed on by many. After several thoughtful check-ins throughout the year with one particular journalist who believed in the same vision, she received a commission for the off-grid story from The New York Times in April 2025 (!!!).

I’m beyond grateful for the opportunity to highlight Darwin Ranch — alongside five other remarkable properties — as one of the most remote vacation destinations in the world.

Thrilled to be working with chef Chris Piro, the visionary behind Again.​, a mission-driven fine dining pop-up where 100% of ticket proceeds support The Again. Foundation, his nonprofit dedicated to providing financial scholarships for youth in the local foster care system.

Having grown up in foster care himself, Piro created both Again. and ​The ​Again. Foundation as a way ​to provide financial support to kids facing the same challenges he once did.

Originally purchased as a family home in 2015 by Johannes van Eeden and Sasika Wicomb, Les Mazots du Clos () opened as a hotel in 2018 with just seven rooms and suites, private wellness center and spa, and underground jazz bar. In 2023, Sasika’s ) opened its doors, which is named after the co-owner, and began offering globally-influenced dishes curated by their brilliant culinary team. This spring, Les Mazots du Clos is returning to its roots as a private alpine hamlet available for individual rentals to provide a hotel-like experience for one group at a time.

Les Mazots du Clos is located in the small town of Villars-Sur-Ollon outside of Geneva. It’s one of those “if you know you know places” commonly frequented by Swiss residents and families who visit their kids in two of the most popular boarding schools in Europe. The canton of Vaud, the state Villars is located in, is home to the second largest wine-producing region in the country, 15th century salt mines that are still in production, quirky museums, and more.

It’s an idyllic getaway destination for groups, families, and hungry travelers who are keen to immerse themselves in a versatile year-round destination without the lines and tourists.

In Dover, New Hampshire, Evan Hennessey () operates two culinary concepts under one roof: Stages at One Washington (), a 6-seat fine dining restaurant, and The Living Room (), an intimate cocktail lounge.

Although the multi-concept operation is housed in the same space and utilizes the same kitchen, the restaurants, which are solely run by Evan and his incredible team of two, boast two separate experiences so new and returning guests have a variety of options to enjoy.

We’re so grateful for Regan giving us the opportunity to not only spotlight Stages and The Living Room, but New Hampshire at-large. It’s an honor to have these independently-owned Seacoast operations spotlighted alongside some of the biggest names in the country. ✨💚
