It's difficult to resist the next "shiny object." We seem to always want the next new product or gizmo (iPhone 13 anyone?!)

A customer who uses Constant Contact for marketing automation recently asked when he could switch to a "bigger" system.

As much as I'd love a new product to play with, my answer was to "First outgrow the system you're in."

Constant Contact has actually evolved so much in the past year or two that he's got some catching up to do if he's going to move to something more robust.

How about you? What are you using for marketing automation?

Are you anxious to trade up? Or are you in over your head already?

If you're having some difficulty, drop a line or two below and let me know. Let's see if we can't find a quick fix for you.

We've recently changed marketing automation systems from a full-blown, all the bells and whistles, system to something much simpler and about 1/5 of the cost.

The full-blown system was fun and interesting, but it just isn't what we need right now or will need anytime soon.

Do you ever feel like your marketing automation is too much for your team to need or handle?

What did you do to make things better? Write your answer below.

A colleague recently shared his client’s struggles with their sales transformation.

It sounded complex with lots of moving parts. Surely above my pay grade.

Or so I thought...

He then said he introduced his client to the new 6-step process my team is rolling out in 4Q21, and the distributor was floored!

The distributor refused to move forward until he fully absorbed our new process. Wow, was I thrilled!

Turns out, our yet-to-be-named process is more of a game-changer than even I imagined.

My colleague described it as 'a necessity for every distributor’s successful sales transformation.' True story!

If you're a distributor and are going through a digital transformation -- especially in the sales arena -- reach out to me. It would be my privilege to share our new "secret sauce" with you, too!
