We’re thrilled to announce that Litchfield Distillery was included in Lost Lantern Wh***ey's United States of Bourbon – a first of its kind blend of straight bourbon from all 50 states, and the widest-ranging American wh***ey ever made.

Each state is represented by only one distillery, and we are proud to represent Connecticut!

We are proud to once again be part of a great team that is fundraising on behalf of . Miles Finch Innovation partnered with two of our clients, Litchfield Distillery and NeJaime’s W**e and Spirits, along with the CT Bourbon Bastards to select an amazing Litchfield 6YR single-barrel pick with 100% of bottle proceeds benefiting BHFH, a nonprofit that gifts mortgage-free homes to injured vets and first responders. Bottles can be purchased in 6 CT retailers (see list in comments) and you can also make a direct donation to the 2025 campaign (link also in comments). Last year, we raised nearly $13K and hope to surpass that amount this year. Please join us in helping this amazing organization!

We'd like to congratulate our longest-running client, Litchfield Distillery, on their 10th anniversary. When the Bakers contacted us for help with their branding and marketing many years ago, we hosted them on our rooftop patio to share our vision for the brand. As they walked up the stairs, we printed a quotation on the steps for them to read as they entered our office:

"The highest reward for a person’s toil is not what they get for it, but what they become by it." - John Ruskin

It was at this meeting where The Spirit of Hard Work was born. We came up with the line by being inspired by the Baker brothers story. They embody an incredible work ethic and abundant generosity. You'll see the Bakers fixing stills, mopping the floor, giving tours, planning events for nonprofit fundraisers, and so much more. They never hesitate to roll up their sleeves, get their hands dirty, and do the work greatness takes.

It's been a true honor to work with the Litchfield Distillery team and help build the brand to where it is today. Congratulations, David, Jack and Peter for all that you have accomplished and for all that you have done for the community. Here's to the next 10 years!

The years have flown by, and it’s taken a lot of sweat and toil to build the brand to where it is today. We’re fortunate to have an incredible team of employees and brand ambassadors who champion The Spirit of Hard Work every day. Surrounding them are our amazing distributors, talented service providers, and, of course, the hard-working farmers who grow and harvest the grain and fruit that are the building blocks of our spirits. We can't forget all the local businesses that we collaborate with to craft the specialty items we sell out of our Distillery Store. Last, but not least, a huge shoutout to all the retail stores, bars and restaurants that choose to carry us.

Today was just a typical day at the distillery—no big celebrations or fanfare. After bottling a batch of Maple Bourbon, we paused to toast this milestone with our Founders' Reserve 10th Anniversary Bourbon Wh***ey, in your honor. The true joy in this journey is witnessing your passion for Litchfield Distillery and hearing your praise for what we craft. From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for blowing wind in our sails!

We are proud to be part of a collaborative effort to raise funds for Building Homes For Heroes, an incredible nonprofit that gifts mortgage-free homes to injured military veterans and first responders. A few weeks ago, folks from NeJaime's W**e & Spirits, Worldwide W**e & Spirits, the CT Bourbon Bastards, and Greca Mediterranean Kitchen & Bar met at the distillery to pick a single barrel for this fundraiser. And wow, did they pick a great one! The selected cask was aged for 6 years and bottled at cask strength, 128 proof. Thanks to a fair amount of angel's share, this expression is packed with amazing flavor and has an incredibly long, spicy finish. We don't often customize our labels, but in this case, we were inspired to do something extra special for the cause. What do you think?
