Gallatin Street: This picture shows a street in old New Orleans from the past, near the French Market & riverfront popular with sailors from around the world. One day I will walk around the French Market to see if I can find that street. It probably has a different name by now. There was another side street in that area when I was in college that had clubs like that, reminding me of pirate ships. One of the clubs that I frequented had a narrow staircase going straight upstairs at the front door. It was a dangerous club, seemingly from another world and fun! It surely reminded me of this picture.

I am still dreaming about owning a transistor radio. How far back does that go? I have been looking all over for one. I listened to the very first regular season game of the New Orleans Saints on my transistor radio. Way back them! Tulane Stadium was sold out; and my brother, myself and friends could not get in. We listened to the game on my radio outside the gates of the stadium. We still rock and rolled.

This is Olivia the LSU gymnast who was sensational. She had an accident near the end, and has moved on to something else. I will google it, but I think that her new career has something to do with fashion.
