Joe started the company’s motion design department and recently hired fellow Loyola Design alum Patrick Fleming as the team continues to expand.
Joe and the team have been producing LED visuals for the Omaha Supernovas at CHI Health Center Omaha, supporting Creighton University commencement projects, producing podcasts, and helping grow Hurrdat’s sports marketing division.

Last Thursday, our seniors opened their capstone exhibition in the Diboll Design Center. Located on the 4th floor of the Monroe library, Aspect Ratio showcases the projects they have been creating all semester. Thank you to all the mentors who helped them this semester and thank you to everyone who was able to attend the opening. The exhibition will be on view all summer. Feel free to stop by and take a look at their work!

Roman Jaster is a graphic designer and educator working in Los Angeles. He is the co-founder of the design studio Yay Brigade. His work is focused on web design and development, as well as identity and book design, often for cultural organizations and artists. He teaches web design classes at CalArts and Art Center. Roman graduated from the CalArts graphic design program in 2007. He finds delight in baking hearty loaves of bread, contemplating the etymology of English and German words, and improvising across chord progressions on his piano.

Shout out to Ashleigh Sparks for exemplifying design as a force for transformation across social, cultural, and intellectual spaces.

Through her work in creative direction, branding, and design strategy, she uses design to drive meaningful communication, community engagement, and entrepreneurial growth. As Development Manager at The Idea Village in New Orleans, she supports local entrepreneurs and advances social and economic impact through innovation.

Her experience with Kyra Hodes, YDelicacies, and POLA Marketing reflects strengths in digital proficiency, conceptual problem-solving, and human-centered design, from concept to identity systems, packaging, and storytelling.

Ashleigh’s leadership in managing teams, building brand standards, and mentoring creatives aligns with Loyola Design’s mission to develop critical thinkers and interdisciplinary designers across media, motion, publication, and marketing.
