I’m Jim, and I recently traded the Atlantic coast for the Mississippi River. I’m the founder of Geeky Tech Guy Enterprises LLC, and I’m officially relaunching my mission to support local entrepreneurs, nonprofits, and small businesses right here in NOLA.

Behind the Scenes at Geeky Tech Guy Enterprises

Just a quick update for my neighbors and fellow entrepreneurs: I’m actively developing new tools to help local businesses get online and grow.

Right now, I’m working on a custom blog platform and a lightweight e-commerce solution — both designed specifically for small businesses that need affordable, no-fuss digital tools. The blog is already live on my own site at GeekyTechGuy.net as a test case, but it’s not quite ready for clients yet — getting close though!

These will eventually be available as add-ons to my fully managed website packages, and I’m also revisiting my pricing structure to make everything more flexible and accessible.

Hey everyone! 👋 I'm excited to share a quick update on my web development journey. I've been diving deep into Laravel (a powerful PHP framework) and recently got a basic login system up and running on https://dev.geekytechguy.net/. Today, I successfully implemented a contact form, which is a big step towards building more interactive and user-friendly websites. It's been a great experience brushing up on my DevOps skills and getting back into the development pipeline. For those who need affordable websites for their small business, I'm making great progress!
