Fun fact: I grew up in restaurants.
My family has been in the industry my entire life, so I've seen every side of it, the magic, the chaos, the passion, and the absolute exhaustion of running a restaurant.
One thing I noticed early on? Social media was always the last priority. And I get it, when you're dealing with staffing, inventory, customer service, and actually making incredible food... who has time for Instagram?
Fast forward to college: I studied marketing at LSU and took over my parents' restaurant social media accounts. The accounts grew like crazy. Engagement went up. Foot traffic increased.
That's when it hit me: I had this unique combination— I understood restaurants from the inside AND I knew how to make social media actually work for them.
So I created Crescent Social to help New Orleans restaurants build the online presence they deserve without adding another thing to their never-ending to-do list.
I'm Giovanna, and I've lived both sides of this, the restaurant grind and the social media strategy, and I'm so excited to bring them together.
