Excited to share my latest commission for Amelia Liquors and McCabe’s Bar! This hand-painted sign in DeLand, Florida, was commissioned to solve a unique challenge. While Amelia Liquors was well known for its convenient drive-thru, many locals were unaware that a full bar was located right next door, offering a place to sit and enjoy a drink.

To bridge this gap, we designed and painted a sign that clearly communicated both businesses to passing drivers on Amelia Ave. Inspired by vintage typography and adorned with gold flourishes, the design reflects the rich history and longstanding presence of Amelia Liquors and McCabe’s Bar in DeLand.

Hello everyone,

I have a question for those familiar with operating a mural business in Florida. Besides having an LLC, EIN, appropriate insurance, and a business bank account, are there any additional licenses or permits required to legally work with other businesses, city entities, public schools, or counties?

Any insights would be greatly appreciated!
