After a lot of late nights experimenting with instrumentation, weird synth textures, xylophones, and coming up with increasingly slime-covered track names… the soundtrack is finally out.
Some personal favorites on the album:
"Scum" kept evolving around this emotive piano melody that felt bittersweet in the right way... like finishing a long journey but not really wanting it to end yet. When FNB heard it, he immediately said it sounded like credits music for the game. Honestly curious what you guys think... Could you hear this playing over credits?
"Kinetic Gel" went in a completely different direction. The drums on that track were heavily inspired by listening to Golemm's album Smile Fight and watching their streams. I wanted the rhythm to feel chaotic, fast, and constantly moving forward in that same kind of energy.
This soundtrack honestly feels like a more polished and refined version of the kind of music I've always loved making. Getting to work on a project like this was genuinely special to me, and I'm really grateful i got to pour this much creativity into it.
