• You might be wearing a coat or jacket this winter! Here are for Lloyd about his biz! Hope you’ll visit the booth at the winter market, packed with unique outerwear! 🔺 How did you get into the clothing business & when did you start selling at the Flea? From a very early age I’ve always had a passion for vintage clothing ,vintage cars + old homes. After graduating from F.I.T I had a successful 40 Year career in manufacturing women’s contemporary clothing. I’ve been selling at the flea for the past 5 years. 🔸 Can you tell us a little about the hand-painted pieces? My painted leather & denim jackets are one of a kind pieces of art by artists from all over the world. It was a trend I’ve been into since the late 60’s and now bringing it forward. 🔹 Do you follow trends when sourcing for the shop or just tend to stock what you love? As far as keeping up with the trends go, I’m always reading the fashion mags and looking to the street to stay current. After being in the fashion business for so many years I rely on my instinct and taste level for what my customers will want. I also look to bring the best quality to the market at a fair price on all my finds.🔻Do you keep a personal collection of finds? Anything you find difficult to sell? Being on the hunt all week it’s hard not to find great jackets I can’t let go of. It’s gotten to the point that I hope they’re not my size. 🔷 Can out-of-town IG followers contact you to purchase?
