As per the recent changes, Amazon is now allowing 6 TOS sponsored placements instead of the previously allowed 4. What are some key points one must remember as a PPC professional?
1- This shall initially lower CPCs but later on luring sellers to actively take part in the bidding war.
2- Lower organic visibility plus loss of organic visibility for existing ranked sellers.
3- Putting an end to the newbie question: " If I'm organically ranked at position 1, why do I need to run TOS ad too", since the 1st organic position has been lowered further.
4- With 6 ad placements, the ratio of PPC to organic orders is now expected to rise which itself will have a range of implications: Achieving target Ac0s more challenging, the need to negotiate better margins from suppliers, etc
