Understanding the numbers behind your email list will change how you write every single email.
Here's the reality of the Coach Email Funnel and why it matters more than your follower count:
Of everyone on your list β 100% of subscribers β only about 35% will open any given email. That means two thirds of your list never even sees your subject line was interesting. They're not ignoring you. They're just distracted, busy, or inbox-overloaded. Your job is to write subject lines compelling enough to pull that number up.
Of those openers, only around 8% will click. That's your actual engaged audience, the people who are curious enough to want more. Every click is a signal. These are warm prospects, not cold leads.
Then at the bottom of the funnel, 1 to 3% become paying clients. That might sound small until you do the math: 1,000 subscribers at a 35% open rate, 8% click rate, and 2% conversion rate equals 20 buyers. If your offer is worth $1,000, that's $20,000 from one email campaign.
This is why list size is less important than list quality, and why great emails matter at every stage.
Want to improve subscriber-to-opener rates? Write better subject lines. Want more clickers? Write better email bodies with one clear CTA. Want more clients? Write better offers with social proof and urgency.
Great emails = more reach at every single level of this funnel.
You don't need a bigger list. You need better emails moving people down. Start there.
Save this and audit where your funnel is leaking. π©
