CREATORS ARE IRRITATING....🥴

🧐 I mean some are, they give a very bad first impression that leads to no one following them and even those who follow to unfollow.
Then they complain about slow growth.

🐶 Heraclius shares 5 common mistakes that lead to negative first impressions.
So make sure you don't make these:
1. Irritating essays
why use 100 words when you can say it in 10 words
take an extra step to simplify
2. Tagging 30 industry leaders
audience perspective: "My god, he's desperate, I will avoid his content"
avoid using black-hat method to grab attention
3. Essays in DMS
Just like the essays in posts, these too irritate people
Instead send voice DMS
4, Fake clickbait
Headline: Secret formula to get 100 000 followers overnight
Inside the post: Give value to grow
5. Copy-pasting the same comment
Audience reaction: This dude is fake. I see this comment everywhere

Your niche sucks 🤷‍♀️
🦊 I meet a lot of people, who think they've "niched down", when in reality, they are still not niche enough.

👉 A niche by definition means a small, specialized segment. So, here lies the problem: if everyone's doing it, it's not a niche.
Here's what you should be doing instead: 👇

Instead of settling on a broad niche, find or create a 'micro-niche' - A niche within your niche, one you can shine with.
Here are some examples:

🧥 Niche Fasion:
mid-sized, vintage, handmade, cottagecore, modern punk, chic feminine workwear, tall

💅 Niche Beauty:
eczema, alternative fantasy, inspire, androgynous

👼 Niche Parenting:
accelerated learning, senses, breastfeeding, mum bod pos.

🍕 Niche Food:
affordable organic, homegrown, fusion cuisines, raw food, food allergies, detoxing

🚀 Niche Marketing:
Facebook ads for coaches, testimonial video productions, marketing for the Beauty industry

👩‍⚕ Niche Wellness:
modern mindfulness, mental health for uni graduates, affirmations for women in business, dream journaling.

Every industry has micro-niches within niches.
Use this opportunity to find something new and unique ... and claim it as your own.

🦊 Our graphic designer Marie recommends logo related tips:
A logo doesn't need to have a meaning and if the logo has a meaning it doesn't need to scream it either.
🔫 There's this obsession with logo meanings. It almost looks like the more meanings you have and the more effective the logo will be.
‼ That's WROOOOOOONG.
Let me repeat again: WROOOOOOOOONG🙅🏼‍♀️

Meanings are just a fancy thing.
So, please don't get stressed out about including 5976454 hidden meanings to your logo.
‼ Reminder:
The main functions of a logo is to identify a business not telling what it is.
Here's a concrete example because I'm sure most people have already read these reminders but never gets what it really means

Example:
XYZ is a bakery. when you see XYZ's logo, the goal is to think: "Oh, its XYZ" not "OH, it is a bakery".
Branding is about making XYZ unique. it's not about making " a bakery" unique.
🔹 Create logos that takes a part in a long-term strategy.
🔹 Create logos that support branding.
🔹 Create meaningful logos, not logos with meanings.

Remember to master your basics!!
Your opinion is always welcomed in the comment section 🥰👇🏼

👇 Creating your social media marketing strategy doesn’t need to be painful. Here's an eight-step guide on how to create an effective plan for your business, by our strategist Luka. 🦊

Step 1. Choose social media marketing goals that align to business objectives
Check out our previous posts on how to set goals correctly

Step 2. Learn everything you can about your audience
Create audience personas
Knowing who your audience is and what they want to see on social media is key. That way you can create content that they will like, comment on, and share. It’s also critical if you want to turn social media followers into customers for your business.

Step 3. Know your competition
Odds are your competitors are already using social media, and that means you can learn from what they’re doing.
Conduct a competitive analysis
A competitive analysis allows you to understand who the competition is and what they’re doing well (and not so well). You’ll get a good sense of what’s expected in your industry, which will help you set social media targets of your own.
It will also help you spot opportunities.

Step 4. Do a social media audit
If you’re already using social media, take stock of your efforts so far. Ask yourself the following questions:
What’s working, and what’s not?
Who is engaging with your?
Which networks does your target audience use?
How does your social media presence compare to the competition?
Once you collect that information, you’ll be ready to start thinking about ways to improve.

Step 5. Set up accounts and improve profiles
Decide which networks to use
As you decide which social networks to use, you will also need to define your strategy for each.
Pro tip: Write out a mission statement for each network. A one-sentence declaration to keep you focused on a specific goal.
Example: “We will use Twitter for customer support to keep email and call volumes down.”
One more: “We will use LinkedIn for promoting and sharing our company culture to help with recruitment and employee advocacy.”

Step 6. Find inspiration
While it’s important that your brand be unique, you can still draw inspiration from other businesses that are great on social.
Social media success stories
Award-winning accounts and campaigns
Your favorite brands on social media
Who do you enjoy following on social media? What do they do that compels people to engage and share their content?

Step 8. Evaluate and adjust your strategy
Your social media strategy is a hugely important document for your business, and you can’t assume you’ll get it exactly right on the first try. As you start to implement your plan and track your results, you may find that some strategies don’t work as well as you’d anticipated, while others are working even better than expected.

👇 In the previous post we already talked about the ways to set goals correctly, you’ll need to think about what you want to achieve with your social media strategy and goals. **🎯**

🦊 And our digital planner Tornike will introduce you 6 types of social media goals you should track.

1. Build brand awareness
Brand awareness indicates how many people on social know you exist and understand what kinds of products and services you offer.
Key metrics related to brand awareness include:
🔸 brand mentions (tagged or not)
🔸 shares
🔸 post reach
🔸 impressions
🔸 virality rate
🔸 amplification rate
Use streams to make sure you measure brand mentions that do not use your or branded hashtags.

2. Manage brand reputation
Brand reputation can mean different things to different companies. For B2C organizations, it might be all about your popularity and customer satisfaction.
For business-to-business brands, it might be industry perception and thought leadership.
Key metrics related to brand reputation include:
🔸 customer satisfaction score
🔸 applause rate
🔸 amplification rate
🔸 social sentiment
🔸 social share of voice
🔸 net promoter score
🔸 applause rate

3. Build and manage an engaged community
Building an engaged community means you have a ready audience that wants to hear about the latest developments at your company. That’s a huge asset when you launch a new product, and to ensure regular ongoing sales.
Key metrics related to community engagement include:
🔸 audience growth rate
🔸 engagement rate
🔸 amplification rate
🔸 applause rate
🔸 click-through rate
🔸 bounce rate
🔸 conversation rate
🔸 net promoter score
🔸 comment conversation score

4. Increase conversions/sales
This is a great social media goal for marketers because it directly relates to the business’s bottom line. When your social media efforts bring in sales, it’s easy to show the value of your work.
Remember that a conversion is not the same as a purchase. A conversion might be signing up for a free newsletter or downloading a free whitepaper. But every conversion has real, measurable value for the company, even if there is no cash exchanges hands.
Key metrics related to conversions and sales include:
🔸 conversion rate
🔸 click-through rate
🔸 bounce rate
🔸 social media conversion rate
If you’re using social ads, you can also focus on key results related to:
🔸 cost-per-click
🔸 CPM

5. Identify and nurture leads
It’s unusual to make a sale the first time a potential customer encounters your product online. Bringing in leads is a key way to use social media to fill your sales funnel and produce value for your brand.
Conversion rate is an important metric for lead generation social media marketing goals. Use it to track how many people are signing up for your lead-generation offers like white papers and contests. You could also use internal measures to track how many leads your sales team is bringing in, and how well they convert those leads to customers.

6. Deliver customer service/support
Social channels are an increasingly important platform for customer service and support. In fact, social messaging is now the most preferred customer service channel in the United States.
Customer satisfaction score is an important metric to track for customer service-related social media goals. You’ll likely also want to track internal metrics like number of service requests tackled per customer service rep.
